Valorization of challenging raw materials
Our general working principle relies on the employment of innovative technical solutions to allow the valorization of challenging raw materials. Within our development and manufacturing projects we always aim to minimal carbon footprint, and maximize the use of sustainable production processes and electrification allowing the production of truly functional and sustainable products.
Functional ingredients
HVE employs a broad range of fully electrified, low temperature, low impact technologies providing functional nutraceuticals with uncompromised functionality, lack of for example denaturation and significant potential health benefits. Generally, HVE is interested in the application of our innovative technical solutions for products in which conventional processing proves difficult due to temperature sensitivity and/or for example strong compartmentalization.
Analysis
We have specialized in the utilization of a broad range of analytical techniques for the analysis of novel functional ingredients. We analyse for example undenatured type II collagen (ELISA), chondroitin sulfate (DMB), total collagen (hydroxproline), elastin (elastase assay) employing our microplate reader with both absorbance and fluorescence options.
