ir. Gerard van Eerden

Gerard brings extensive experience in the food industry with operational and commercial roles for the past 30 years. He has a background in animal nutrition from Wageningen University (MSc 1996) and has a keen interest in the valorization of organic waste streams combined with smart energy solutions. He was plant manager of a large food production facility in the Netherlands and provides consultancy throughout the Netherlands in energy solutions and subsidiary possibilities. He further brings over 20 years of experience in business development and is responsible for the commercialization and business development within HVE Production Technologies. Gerard is co-founder, co-owner and general director of HVE.

dr. Mickel Hansen

Mickel is an organic chemist by training with a PhD from the University of Groningen working with Nobel Prize winner Ben Feringa for his undergraduate and graduate studies. He has a keen interest in the control of biological function employing innovative molecular solutions. He has significant pharmaceutical experience heading the development and manufacturing department of a Dutch pharmaceutical company serving a client base in both Europe and the US. He brings a broad pharmaceutical operational and scientific background and is responsible for science and technology within HVE Production Technologies. Mickel is co-founder, co-owner and general director of HVE.
