Our manufacturing technoloiges
HVE has a state of the art manufacturing facility in Veendam, The Netherlands. We are accredited by the Dutch Health and Food Inspectorate and are one of the few companies in the Netherlands with a special product manufacturing license including collagen, chondroitine and other products. We believe in the electrification of nutraceutical manufacturing as a key sustainability by design principle. Our flexible manufacturing capabilities offer the shortest path from your idea to product.
We employ a multitude of manufacturing technologies amongst which:
- Protein hydrolysis and isolation
Utilizing biotechnological and chemical methods with a major focus on functionality of the final product. - Micro and ultrafiltration
For purification and dewatering purposes, we have a scalable setup allowing up to multi MT production capacity. - Vacuum concentration and spray drying
Allowing low temperature concentration and spray drying with capacities of up to multi MT/year. - Purification towards ultrapure >99% products
Specialized in back extractions, resin based purifications and high-end recrystallizations, with our strong background in selective derivatizations and chiral resolution. - Conventional and cryo-milling (pin/hammer mills)
Hosokawa alpin mill with flexible milling options, continuous feeding options and the utilization of dry ice/liquid nitrogen. - Ultrasound extraction, crystallization and micronization
Broad expertise in sono-extraction, sono-crystallizations and ultrasound assisted micronization. - Freeze drying
Flexible capacities from 10 kg up to 3000 kg/year. - Oven drying with forced convection
Multiple Binder ovens with direct attachment to our in-house ventilation systems for the evaporation of water and organic solvents. - Centrifugation
Large scale, high speed centrifugation up to 1800 RPM for batch centrifugation of up to 30 kg/portion. - Chemical derivatization
From labscale to production scale we can facilitate derivatization of bio-active ingredients utilizing biotechnology or conventional chemical methods. - Fermentation/enzymatic digestion
Broad in-house availibilty of proteases for hydrolytic digestion.
We are heavily investing in our manufacturing capabilities diversifying our possible manufacturing technologies, please reach out if any questions or possible manufacturing techniques not specifically listed above.
